"The technique requires predictability and, to the same degree, accuracy of prediction. So it is necessary for the technique to prevail over human existence ...... the technique must turn man into a technical animal, the king of the slaves of technique." - Jaqcues Ellul, The technological Society, 1964
In the vortex of restrictions, the age of technological authority in it?s zenith is being experienced, and almost simultaneously, an Indian agronomist is grafting cacti of different kinds for ornamental purposes, a 4-year-old Malaysian boy is cooking fried rice with vegetables in a huge wok, a Scottish middle-aged man develops his own theory of ideal roof insulation, a New York blogger records the 674 indoor plants she maintains in her apartment and of course knows each of their Latin names. Endless hours of recording the ingenuity of our mankind to prove that it can do better, and it has the will to share with you moments of technological gleam, to teach you its secrets, an ocean of professions that travels us in all lengths and breadths of the world inexhaustibly only with one click, as long as you keep the thirst for new rough, unfinished and unpretentious knowledge! Cheers to you!!
In our achievement you will not be a spectator of another show, of another secret talent, of another profession that retains the findings of its research, briefly and only, in real time and space. But you will need to be there, physically to experience the difference. In order not to forget.
